Trails in My Later Life By Linda Marie Fischer
Our lives are all trails and the song Trails in My Life was meant capture a collective experience of love and liberation. In the song it says “be a new person” and that’s exactly what can happen with another trail called menopause. Over this past summer, I had the honor of being among talented playwrights and actresses in Assisi who inspired me with their feminism and determination to reach their creative potential. The final night everyone read a piece and an actress friend of mine was kind enough to read it. Very exciting to hear one’s words in a public forum.
