The Glen Rose Reporter in Glen Rose, Texas, just ran a great news story about the song Glen Rose, Texas by Linda Marie Fischer. Glen Rose is the dinosaur capital of Texas and allusions to dinosaurs and all of the places and things that make the town so special are featured in the song.

Linda Marie Fischer, singer and co-lyricist on the song said, “My husband Phil and I have been coming to Glen Rose since 2005 and we always have a wonderful time. The town is always evolving from its roots in Dinosaur Valley State Park. The park has wonderful trails and when the water in the Paluxy River is clear, the dinosaur tracks emerge from the bottom. Glen Rose is such a unique place I just had to include it on my new Places album.”
